Saranda Diving Center officially started in 2014 by a very talented scuba diving instructor and his son with the only aim to share their personal experience of the area with other members of the national and international scuba community. Since day one we have had the vision of sharing not only our experience but also our professionalism and serosity with others. Our dive center is officially recognized by the Albanian Government (we consent a governmental license). In order to make your experience safer we offer dive insurance for all scuba divers who join our dive trips or for our students during their dive training with our PADI instructors. Saranda Diving Center is officially affiliated with PADI, Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the greatest Scuba diving organization in the world. We offer all recreational diving PADI courses and professional (divemaster, assistant instructor) following strictly PADI standards, policies and procedures. We try to go on fast to the new era of digital education methods, like the PADI e-learning platform and the recently launched PADI “Touch” files. Furthermore, we offer our scuba trips and our scuba lessons in different languages such as: Albanian, English, Italian and more.
The underwater environment in Sarandë has a temperature that ranges from 15 °C up to 26 °C starting from the surface down to 10 meters of depth. There are light currents in the area which make it possible for a variety of marine life to thrive. The best part about scuba diving in Sarandë is the visibility that the area offers. Most of the time it is between 12 meters to 15 meters and on the best days it is up to 30 meters. Dive sites in Sarandë are too many, and it is impossible for them to be explored in a year. Saranda Diving Center offers organized dives in both Sarandë and Ksamil depending on our dive plan that we have for the day, which is heavily affected by the weather conditions. One of the dive sites that we mostly suggest is the under-water park of six ship wrecks found in Ksamil. The Albanian government ten years ago sunk six different communist army ships in order to create an underwater park for divers. Ships are found at a depth of 12 meters up to 30 meters.
Located on the stunning Albanian Riviera, Sarande is a destination that offers something for everyone. In addition to historical diving experiences, visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities and attractions, including:
