Saranda Diving, in Albania, offers daily diving adventures starting at 09:00 during peak season. To ensure the best experience, we recommend that divers arrive a day ahead of time to sign the participation papers and select their own diving gear. If you are traveling from nearby destinations such as Lukove, Himare, or the riviera, we are happy to arrange the equipment for you if you provide us with your gear sizes. Once the paperwork and equipment are ready, we will embark on our dive excursion, typically a 10-minute drive away to the dive boat (not during peak season). Our diving excursions begin with the deepest dive of the day, the Probitas shipwreck (18 m or 59ft), followed by a dive interval. The minimum dive interval is 40 minutes, which is used to ride to the second dive site and switch tanks. Probitas is an outstanding shipwreck, known by many divers as one of the best. To give our divers a unique experience, we pair the Probitas with a marine life dive site, showcasing the history and natural beauty of Saranda. After the dives, we return to the dive shop where we review the dives of the day and log our dives. Our dive sites vary daily, depending on weather conditions and other factors. We often organize dives at Probitas and Hunda e Kuqe, but please contact us for the current weekly schedule. Our packages include the dive gear, boat, and photo services, with no additional costs. To participate in our diving adventures, you should book your dives at least one day in advance. We accept all dive licenses but we tend to follow the Albanian government and Padi standards, which means if you have an open water license or any other entry level diving license we do not allow you to dive deeper than 18m (59ft).
A group of six former military ships lie just a few meters off the shore in Ksamil. The sunken ships can be found at depths ranging from 16 meters (52ft) to 30 meters (98 ft), and still contain remnants of their armaments such as machine guns, engines, and cannons.Diving at these shipwrecks is an unforgettable experience, with good visibility (usually around 15 meters or 49ft) and water temperature at a comfortable 17°C (62°F). These sunken vessels provide a unique glimpse into the history of communism, and serve as a popular destination for the communist area fans.

Sunk in 1943 during an air raid, this 100-meter (328ft) long ship lies just 50 meters (164ft) from shore and is one of the best dive sites in the area. With peaceful diving conditions, the Probitas wreck offers a unique experience for both recreational and experienced divers. With a maximum depth of 22 meters (72ft) and some parts just 3 meters (9ft) from the surface, the well-preserved ship provides a fascinating glimpse into the past. Probitas is usually the first dive we organize in the morning as it tends to be the deepest of the dive groups we offer(we do not exceed 18 meters or 59ft on this dive).
