Padi OWSI
The Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program is one of two distinct components of PADI's Instructor
Development Course (IDC), which serves as the foundation for PADI Instructor training. The Assistant
Instructor course comes first, followed by the Open Water Scuba Instructor program.
The OWSI program introduces you to the entire PADI diver education system and focuses on further
developing your skills as a professional dive educator.
The Exciting Part

- Interacting with course participants and forming friendships that last long after the course is
the most enjoyable aspect of instructor training.
- You'll start networking with other professionals and looking for PADI Pro Diving Jobs all over
the world.
- You will also have the opportunity to further your professional education by taking specialty
instructor courses, which will prepare you to teach specialties after obtaining instructor
certification.
